French Cultural Cooperation and Action Attaché in Rio de Janeiro
Graduated in Political Science, Diplomacy and School of Higher Studies in Public Health (EHESP), Romann Datus began his career more than 20 years ago at the Cooperation and Action Culturelle (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Jamaica and at the University of the West Indies , Kingston. After devoting many years to Public Health as head of hospital and clinic service in a French department, at the time in monitoring European affairs at the Ministry of Health, he returned to Diplomacy and Cultural Affairs in 2013 as Advisor for Cooperation and Cultural Action in French Embassy in Bolivia. Since September 2017, he heads the SCAC of the Consulate General of France in Rio de Janeiro. For him, exercising these functions in the "Marvelous City" is a career opportunity.
